Title: Cake and Cheesecake

  Cheesecake batter:
8ozCream cheese
2/3cSugar
1/2cSour cream
1tsVanilla
2 Eggs unbeaten
  Cake batter:
1/2cButter
1tbMilk
2/3cSugar
2 Eggs unbeaten
1tsVanilla
1cFlour
1tsBaking powder
1/2tsSalt
  Topping:
1cSour cream
2tbSugar
1tsVanilla

Cream cheese with sugar till fluffy. Add sour cream and vanilla.Blend in eggs one at a time. Set aside. For cake, cream butter till fluffy. Gradually add sugar beating well. Add eggs, one at a time. Sift flour, b.p. and salt and fold into creamed mixture. Turn into a greased 10 inch , 2 inch deep pie plate or pan or a 9 x 9 inch pan.Spread in batter , thiner on sides. Spoon cheese mixture over batter. Bake 325 for 40 or 50 minutes. Combine topping ingrdients and spread over top and bake 5 minutes longer. Cool. cover with plastic wrap and chill a minimum of 4 hours.
